Kurnool district collector G Veerapandian confirmed the event and appealed to public to not panic as gas leak was restricted solely to the factory premises and had not unfold outdoors.

Following reviews of the gas leak, Kurnool district Collector G Veerapandian, SP Kaginelli Fakeerappa and different senior officers of the district administration rushed to the spot and took inventory of the scenario.
Speaking to reporters after inspecting the factory premises close to Nandyal, collector G Veerapandian stated “A 50-year-old employee working at SPY Agros factory died in the gas leak incident and three others were rushed to the government general hospital for medical care.”
G Veerapandian underlined that the gas leak was contained instantly and the district administration had ensured the impression was not felt past the factory premises.
“Fire services, medical and health personnel, police and others were immediately rushed to the factory after reports of the gas leak. Immediately, the situation was brought under control and there is no need for the public to panic,” asserted Kurnool district Collector.
Meanwhile, the district administration has ordered an enquiry into the incident.
