Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces last tranche of stimulus package deal: Highlights

NEW DELHI: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday addressed the media to announce the last tranche of Rs 20 lakh crore stimulus package deal aimed to rescue a struggling financial system whose woes have been augmented by the coronavirus pandemic.
Here are the highlights of Sitharaman’s deal with:
* Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package used know-how to do direct profit switch to individuals, we may do what we did as a result of of the initiatives taken through the last few years: FM
* One-time switch of ₹ 2,000 has reached 8.19 crore farmers, whole quantity ₹ 16,394 crore. NSAP beneficiaries obtained ₹ 1,405 crore in first installment and ₹ 1,402 crore in 2nd instalment, goal of ₹ 3,000 crore practically achieved.
* Pulses too got Three months prematurely. I admire the concerted efforts of FCI, NAFED and states, giving pulses and grains in enormous portions, regardless of logistical challenges: FM
* Sitharaman began the presser quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had earlier mentioned, “as a nation today we stand at a crucial juncture” and “such a big disaster has brought forth an opportunity” as nicely. She mentioned that the PM had mentioned, “land, labour, liquidity and law all have been included in the relief package.”
The Finance Minister on Saturday mentioned that the central authorities will introduce competitors, transparency and personal sector participation within the coal sector and can do infrastructure growth of Rs 50,000 crore.
