The seemingly ageless iconic nation artist appeared on Sunday’s episode of “Today” to advertise her new album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas,” and her Netflix musical “Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square.”

On “Today” she stated, “I think we’ve just become so divided, ’cause people just seem to love to hate. You know?

“This is the Christmas season arising,” Parton said. “But we have to carry that Christmas spirit of peace on Earth, and loving each other. We want to hold that into the brand new 12 months.

“And Lord knows, I hope next year is better than this one,” she added.

Amen, Dolly Parton. Amen.

“A Holly Dolly Christmas” is Parton’s first vacation album in 30 years and consists of duets with a number of artists together with Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon.

Parton informed “Today” she had “been wanting to do another Christmas album for a long time, and I had the time to do it, since we had kind of all holed up at home.

“So I began writing a few of these authentic songs, and I gathered up some extra of the outdated classics,” she said. “And grabbed a bunch of associates, and we simply sort of went for it.”

Leave it to Parton to try and make us all feel better in such tumultuous times.

“We cannot save the world, however we will save the world we’re dwelling in,” she said. “Maybe I’m dreaming. But I do not suppose so.”
